E.J.A Communication Therapy

My passion lies in working with young children, and with children, adolescents and young adults with complex communication needs, including those who require augmentative and alternative forms of communication.  I believe in providing therapy in natural settings, with a strong emphasis on parent coaching.  I believe in a focusing on a child's strength, incorporating  individuals's interests and taking a child's lead within therapy sessions to help develop a genuine joy for communicating and interacting with others .  I believe in respecting an individual's chosen mode of communication. I think it is crucial to not only work directly with children, but with all individuals involved in a child's life to support communication.

I work in person in San Diego, CA.  I also provide teletherapy in MA, CA and WA.  I am a provider for the Early Start Program with the San Diego Regional Center.  If I don't currently provide teletherapy in your state, I am continuously adding to the states I am licensed in, so please reach out!  I am available for therapy, assessments, consultation, literacy sessions and device programming.

In CA, I accept private pay as well as TriCare.  In-Network with Blue Shield of CA is pending insurance.   I can provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
